Berwaldhallen, with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Choir, is one of the most important cultural institutions in the country. The two ensembles are among the best in the country within their respective fields, reaching far beyond the borders of Sweden.

Through the collaboration with EBU (European Broadcasting Union), many of the concerts at Berwaldhallen are broadcasting other countries (sometimes more than 20), giving the programmes an audience of many millions.

Thirtytwo professional singers form the Swedish Radio Choir. Since the 1960s recognised as a world-leading a capella choir, often engaged by orchestral conductors such as Claudio Abbado and Riccardo Muti for concerts, tours and recordings.
