Radio as you really want it!

Swedish Radio proudly presents multichannel sound for radio.

The clips are mixed in multichannel sound and coded in DTS at 1.5 Mb/s and in most cases also in Dolby Digital at 640 Kb/s. These can be downloaded and listened to in a home theatre system.

Music for Lau

The piece was recorded in Lau church, situated on the island of Gotland. Gotlandsmusikens Brass ensemble is conducted by Mr Nils-Gunnar Burlin. The composition is utilizing the unique acoustics of Lau church to the outmost while keeping the integrity which comes from it being performed in and composed for a religious space.

The entire composition has kindly been made available to you by the composer Gunnar Bucht and Gotlandsmusiken.

The recording was made using four microphones. In the mixing stage a center- and a LFE-channel were added using the original four tracks of recording. Recording and mixing engineer: Björn Carlsson, Swedish Radio Gotland.

Norrlanda marsh

Norrlanda marsh on the Island of Gotland surrounded by forest and field. An early morning in May You could hear the Snipe, the Yellowhammer, the Corncrake, the Chaffinch, the Redshank, the Willow warbler, the Linnet and distant the early morning bell of the medieval shurch, Norrlanda.
The recording are made in four channels. the microphones are placed in a square with the side of 25 cm.
Recording date, 18 of May 2005 at 7 o’clock.
